★★★★★ Outstanding app but rings three minutes late! This is just what I was looking for but consistently rings three minutes after the hour and half hour. If this is ever resolved I will rate it 5 stars.

★★★★★ Plays good quality bell sound on the half hour and/or hour with configurable "quiet hours" to squelch the bells. With an in-app volume control this app would get 5 stars. Bells are very very loud on my phone, so I must turn it down so I can barely hear other notifications.

★★★★★ This is the best ships bell app Without question this is the best ships bell clock I have used thus far. Simple! Loud strike, soft strike, the choice is yours. Bells sound better than any of the others. I can't believe this is a free app. I just wasted $3 dollar's on other wanna be ships bells. I thought I had lost this app when my other phone died but a friend who knew what to do found it. I'm so happy to have this app back. ★★☆☆☆ Can't Tell Time How can anyone give this app any stars when it can't even tell the correct tome and ring bells on the hour or half-hour. I guess you get what you pay for. Shame on the developer for not testing his app before releasing it

★★☆☆☆ Crashes Constantly Worked fine on my LG Optimus 3 and on my Galaxy Tab S until an update or two ago; now it crashes all the time. Had to unistall it.

★★☆☆☆ On my Samsung S6, this app loses time. When I first started using the app it worked ok, but now it consistently gets later and later. Now the chime goes off at 8:02 for example. It steadily progresses and I am expecting it to start going off at 8:03 soon. Uninstall and reinstall of the app makes no difference. What I suspect is going on, is that the app itself uses an internal timer and when it goes off, schedules the next chime event to occur 30 minutes from this current chime event. Instead, the app should be linked to the phone clock and rely on that trigger for the timer event. Downgraded to 2 stars, but hoping an update will fix this discrepancy. When it starts chiming at 8:05 I'm uninstalling this.

★★☆☆☆ I really wanted to like this app. But when the bells started ringing 20 minutes late I gave up and uninstalled it.

★★☆☆☆ No independent volume setting for the bells, so the app rings at whatever system volume you've set on the device. There are only two bell sounds to choose from, loud and louder, and it hasn't been updated since KitKat!
