100 stars! So helpful for making informed choices, it really helps clear the fog and mysteries surround brands and products. I've been using the app for years and years, maybe I use it 2-3 times a week. Purchasing items and supporting companies that do the right thing is so much easier! Only complaint. I now live in Japan and there isn't enough information on huge for foreign brand from over here, very Australian based. I still want to try and make the right choice even while living overseas.

I installed this app with high hopes, but alot of the products I buy aren't even listed on here. Refund/uninstalled within minutes. I've now installed Eco Report Card, and it's free.

Doesn't open on Moto X Play phone I love the Shop Ethical app and have used it for years on previous phones. But when I installed it on my Moto X Play phone it does not open, showing an error of 'this is app has unexpectedly closed' before the app has even opened. I have tried installing and re-installing and also installing on both an SD card and phone memory to no avail.

Completely and Utterly Disappointed This forces criteria onto you that is not ethical or may not fit your personal values, and you can't deselect them. It assumes all GMs are bad although most aren't, some are very ethical (look at Golden Rice!), and the scientific consensus is that GMs are BETTER for the environment. Foods are derated for non-vegan ingredients, but I'm not vegan. Normal foods are derated over organic foods, although normal foods use far less land mass. If I use this, I have to look through EVERY item to ignore the nonsense!!!

In your next update please fix following issue for 5 stars - if I click brand "Quoin" takes me to an overview of the Quoin company, however when I click "Beyond Meat" I'm either redirected to a random part of the app, or my app is forced closed. Other than this current bug I love the app, bought your little shopping book a few years ago, and it's falling apart from use. Happy to change to 5 stars after bug fix. 🐛
