Seth H. was correct. I had to turn off Mobil Data for the app to connect. But, my wife's phone would connect with Mobil Data on. Go figure...?

The app works well, but trying to view the footage it seems I have to reconnect from the start as in close app, reconnect Wi-Fi then open app every time as if my phone goes to sleep it's disconnected from app when I try to view, also it would be good if all shots automatically download to view so when you open app they are all available, not have to manually select each shot and wait,

Update 1/3/22. It was an issue with the camera not the app. Support solved it quickly, camera and app now working perfectly. Camera brilliant, when I first got it was easy to download videos. But now is saying app has a bug and closes every time.

*** Update - You must turn off your phone's mobile data and then turn on the Wi-Fi ONLY to connect to the app. Leaving mobile data on you'll get an error. This step needs to be added to the instructions. **** This is the "latest" version that was supposed to fix the connection issue between the shotkam and your phone and guess what... Still doesn't work.

The camera takes good footage. However, the app is trash, you have to constantly restart the app to connect to the device. When you try to preview your shots, it will freeze on downloads 9/10 times. This issue is on Android and apple for my friend has the same issue. For the money you spend on the device, you should get a flawless product, app included. Iv reached out to shotkam, and they ignore the issue/complaint. As long as they get their money. I will be returning the product due to the app.

The best camera but, the software has problems The first one I noticed is that is a bit slow when viewing someone else over the Wi-Fi. Its has a few seconds delay compared to real time. Also, the software is a little bit glitched. For example while calibrating the crosshair when you release the button It's still moving. I also can't play slow motion videos without being connected to the shotkam because 100fps or more don't work on Android phones. Make it read the files that have moved to the phone
