★★★★★ This app is an excellent collection of information for the Shotokan karate. Although the links are to YouTube videos and charts easily found elsewhere, this app organizes it all tidily for easy reference. My only complaints are that some of the techniques are only presented with Japanese names without translations and the kata drawings are tightly cluttered and difficult to decipher in places. **Edit** Translations are easily found for all of these Japanese terms and would be helpful to a novice. ★★☆☆☆ It used to work beautifully. But now, for some reason, it "throws out of the app". I checked if it updated or not, from the play store, it is, but it's still throwing out. So, I had to delete the app. Sorry. I'll try again.
