I rate it one star because the app is broken right now. All of a sudden during the recent weeks, the showground Android app stops working on all my android devices - Xiaomi mi 11 ultra & Huawei Mate 20 pro. When I tap on the app to open it, the app immediately closes. The only way is using the showground website. I have no idea what happened, pls troubleshoot this app closure issue. Update on 12 Oct 2022: the app is finally working properly now as it should. I will change rating to 5 stars.

Great idea ... I am glad to find an app like this. As a solo traveler It offers me the opportunity to meet locals and have an adapted tour and experience. The app has a lot of potential. It would be nice to be able to edit trips, and also, Showgrounds that didn't happen should now show as reviewed. Lastly, reviews should be editable.

You cannot use it and experience the app unless you make a monthly subscription which is expensive and not worth to have a none trained local guide

No one replys looks like a scam app, I have tried it in 3 countries now. And have been paying the monthly charges which are so expensive. Literally no one is answering . I wonder whether all the locals accounts are fake . And also the reviews they get. I can not confirm it. But for few months and dozens of requests in 3 countries and no one answers . Makes u doubt the app.

Do NOT get this app. Its 100% a scam. First you have to pay without even a trial, then every single profile is a bot. I sent a few messages to guides who I wanted, no response. I tried some more thinking that was odd, waiting a few days with nothing. Finally, I sent a message to probably over 100 guides to see and zero response still. This whole app is a shill stay away

I'm a member of Showground for 6 years and I use it very often. Unfortunately this app doesn't work on 2 my Xiaomi mobiles :(I have to use the website all the time, and it's a bit uncomfortable.
