Sideload Channel Launcher 4 is the latest version of our Sideload Channel Launcher product.

What does version 4 bring?
Brand new selection of clock widgets.

Profile creation options have been improved along with new cusomization options accross the app.

We have implemented a new method to add your own images and icons and we no longer require any storage permissions.

We have included a range of wallpapers

Improvements and tweaks to customization options and the user interface.

* Ability to lock down and set an admin PIN to protect your setup

This app uses Accessibility services. Our app offers the use of BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE which can monitor your key presses (KeyEvent) and can open the recent app menu (performGlobalAction) if you enable the service.

Enabling the accessibility service gives us the ability to detect button presses so that you can configure an easier/quicker way to open Sideload Channel Launcher 4 (SLC4). Choosing your own button means that you can pick a more suitable/accessible button to launch SLC4 which may help accommodate you or another persons needs. SLC4 does not collect, store or share any of your personal information and this option has only been implemented to assist users. Fantastic app! Downloaded to use on my Shield Pro, CCTV and Sony w/Android TV. Besides the no-ads display, I wanted a launcher that would start by default on my three devices. After experiencing some issues with two of my devices, I emailed the developer and received a response within an hour with suggestions. I wanted to avoid ADB but for my Shield Pro and CCTV, I did have to use ADB to disable the stock launchers - but it was easy (thanks YouTube!).

By far my favorite Android Launcher. This version very similar to Version 3, but I absolutely adore this launcher. I would love to see you support MP4 as the wallpaper, so I can get more creative but other than that - Perfect Launcher!

Disappointed. The only noticeable change I experienced from upgrading Sideload Channel 3 to version 4 was a slight improvement in the responsiveness (navigating the home screen). Taking note on one particular update, I took advantage of the "live wallpaper" feature where you could use a GIF, simulating a live background. Applying a basic GIF at a resolution of 1920x1080 does not work well with the UI—all that improved responsiveness goes out the window.

I want a refund so I can get primal. I tested both and then realized that primal allows me to change my wallpaper.
