Description
SIENG requires a Lao PDR phone number for OTP-based registration and password recovery; these flows are not testable outside Laos. Please use the provided test account credentials to review all other app features.
Step-by-Step Testing Instructions Log In: Launch the app and authenticate with your provided test credentials.
Create a Submission: Tap "Create New Complaint" on the Home page. Test both types:
Complaint: Saves the user's personal information.
Report: Fully anonymous (no personal data saved).
Fill Details: Complete the multi-step form spanning product info (name, category, price/currency, date, location, desired outcome) and vendor info (name, phone, contact, address).
Attach Media: On the evidence step, upload gallery files or use the in-app camera/microphone to capture live proof.
Drafts & Terms: Accept the Terms and Conditions to submit, or click "Save Draft" to exit and resume/delete it later from the Home or Complaints page.
Track Progress: Tap the "Text Bubble" icon in the bottom navigation bar to open the Complaints page. Search by ID/Status and open a case to view its details and chat history with authorities.
AI Support: Tap the floating "Robot" icon (bottom-right) to launch the informational AI chatbot.
Explore Modules: Use the bottom nav bar to view, search, and filter Announcements, News, and Laws by title or status.
Account Management: Navigate to the Menu tab to test profile editing, language switching, password changes, and the FAQ section.
Feature & Module Breakdown Home Page: Access complaint creation, saved drafts, recent submissions, Announcements, News, and the AI Chatbot.
Complaint Module:
Fields include product specs, purchase method, previous complaints, and complete vendor contact/location details.
Users can only view their own submitted tickets. Includes search filtering by ID and Status alongside an interactive authority-consumer comment thread.
Drafts can be resumed or permanently deleted.
Information Portals (Announcements, News, Laws): Accessible via the bottom navigation bar. Fully searchable by Title and Status.
Menu Module: Supports profile modifications, UI language toggling, password security updates, and an FAQ registry.
Recent changes: SIENG is the official citizen tool by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MOIC) for reporting consumer grievances in Laos. Whether it’s an unfair transaction, a defective product, or misleading service, SIENG gives you the power to hold businesses accountable.
