Not sure why this is rated low... exploring S&S issues all the way back to the 1930s is fascinating. The search function doesn't function reliably, but if you know the date of a historic movie you just scroll down to the right issue. Plus, it's always handy to have a digital version of the most recent issue handy.

Brilliant way to read the msg Why isn't this app being advertised? I found it by chance while frustrated that seemingly only the iPad could benefit from the digital subscription properly. This is very smooth and quick so far and should be offered more willingly.

I so wanted to use this app, but the UX is terrible on both mobile and tablet. Click on magazine to start reading; OK it asks me for subscriber username and password, after which I can read the issue, which is fine for a "first time in" experience. Then go back to select a different magazine - offers me one option - to logout! After which I have to repeat the sign-in process again. Not fine. If anyone from the BFI reads these reviews, please fix this.

Lacks basic functionality IoS allows you to search single issue or archive. Android app seems to have forgotten the archive option, which makes it no easier than rifling through a stack of back numbers. Very disappointing.

This app is appalling since the August update. It keeps asking me to login whereas before I was just authenticated automatically via Google Play. When I try to use my Google account details, it says they are unrecognized despite my having an annual subscription. Page suite have been no help whatsoever & neither have the publisher, so I've regrettably cancelled my subscription as I'm paying for a magazine I can't read. What a shame. S&S was my favorite film magazine.

Cannot log in using the credentials that work in my browser. Have never been able to use the app. Error message doesn't give much information about the problem.

Sort it out S&S. This is letting the brand down. Constant requests to log back in, reauthenticating etc. I just want to search for the film I've just seen on BFI Player. Shouldn't be this hard.
