SIGMA LINK enables you to download your trip data and transfer settings to your bike computer with your mobile phone.
With the models BC 14.16, BC 16.16, and BC 23.16 this works by using the NFC antenna. NFC is an international standard for wireless communication between devices on very short distances. Just put your compatible smartphone close to your BC to transfer the data.
The ROX GPS 11.0 connects to the App via Bluetooth Smart. With the connection of ROX and SIGMA LINK you can:
- have a look at your tracks - share your activities in Strava, TrainingPeaks, 2 Peak - see incoming calls on your smartphone screen during the training (smart notifications) - download tracks from GPSIES and transfer it to ROX GPS 11.0
The direct communication with NFC and Bluetooth only applies to the bike computer models named above. However, you can transfer data of older SIGMA computers from your DATA CENTER to SIGMA LINK by using the SIGMA CLOUD.

The app is only sporadically updated, although there is a lot to be improved: sluggish map pantsuit; komoot account tracks are dated to the year 1970 and custom order does not work reliably; general lack of smoothness and speed. However, in general I am satisfied with the app, as the competition (Garmin, Yahoo) has also its flaws.

Still using Rox11 with sigma link, very fast and responsive if you follow a specific sequence of pairing, syncing data, importing activities, or loading maps. -Set the computer into sync data mode. -make sure Bluetooth is on before you get into the sigma link app. -open app. Voilà. Komoot and sigma link are a great combination for navigation/loading maps. Would be great if sigma sets an update or there's a way to load a map while in training mode. Thanks.

Used to be ok, could share my data to the data center. Even though I could connect my Rox 11 to it during riding, the link would end as soon as the mobile screen locked. Plus there was no way to select what notifications actually came through to my Rox. Recently the app has just decided that it won't show my activities or share my rides to Strata, which the data center doesn't let you do anymore either. Can't link to Swift so can't accurately show that data in data center either. Kinda rubbish.

Rubbish. Doesn't NFC connect with phone, or with its own app, not detectable on Garmin watch. Waste of money.
