Stop typing long Wi-Fi passwords one letter at a time. Point your camera at the Wi-Fi sign in a café, restaurant, hotel or office, and Signfi reads the network name and password and helps you connect.

■ Point, read, connect
Hold the sign inside the frame. No shutter button: Signfi reads continuously and compares several frames to pick the most likely password, so a shaky hand is fine.

■ Reads the way real signs are written
"Wi-Fi: MoonCafe", "ID / PW", "SSID … Password …", a password on the next line, Korean or Japanese labels. Printed Wi-Fi QR codes work too.

■ Fix look-alike characters in one tap
0 or O? 1, l or I? 5 or S? Signfi shows the easy-to-mix characters as chips, so you can swap them without retyping the whole password.

■ Connect without hunting through settings
Tap Connect and Android asks you to confirm the network. On older phones the password is copied and Wi-Fi settings open for you.

■ From a photo, too
Took a picture of the Wi-Fi sign earlier? Pick it from your gallery.

■ Your Wi-Fi history
Networks you save stay in History with the date, so you can show, copy or reconnect later. Passwords are encrypted on your device.

■ Private by design
Text and QR recognition run on your device. No account, no sign-up, no location permission. Camera frames are never saved.

Copy the last Wi-Fi password or open the scanner right from your home screen.

Signfi reads Wi-Fi signs you are allowed to use. It does not find, crack or show passwords for other networks.
