Does everything on the tin. Plays files from local folders, functions like all music apps - has shuffled, single repeat, playlist repeat, albums, artists, custom playlists. Only gripe is the occasional error playback, but is cleared on restart of app & replay. Files are all mp3, plays on multiple devices outside of app. Not a big annoyance tho, I can live with it.

Reply to dev: and that lite version should've been released before/alongside the one you just bombarded with permissions. Many of us don't do cloud/care. SIMPLE music player. When the lite comes out maybe I'll DL and contribute to that. *Edited: well I guess don't update if you already had the app with no permissions because now it asks for a LOT including full network access. Classic bait and switch. If it stops working, or I get a new phone I'll find something else. Would NOT recommend now.

No folder support. No basic folder playing support and thus not fit for purpose. 1 star until fixed. No excuses from devs below accepted, including their erroneous claims that their app works "as intended". The app is broken and multiple reviews here have confirmed this.

Does not run behind other apps. When I open my browser it closes. Without the app staying in the foreground, it fails to run.
