A bare-bones widget that does exactly what you need. I put this widget on my main screen to use for daily reminders, so I see it every time I open my phone. Simple, and easy to use.

I appreciate no ads and it's free! I tried like 2 other text widget apps before this one and deleted them because the ads are way annoying. I don't mind paying for an app if it gets rid of ads, but usually the greasy devs that bloat their apps with ads only offer ridiculous monthly subscriptions instead of a one time purchase. I just don't bother with that. This is a simple and easy to use app with no bs.

Use a sticky note app instead! This doesn't work, it crashes (Android 10). Even if it worked, it does too little. Should have been removed from the Play Store years ago. Too limited, outdated, clunky, unintuitive - requires knowledge of HTML - and generally outdated to be of any interest.

Today this widget disappeared from my list of widgets. I was using it to give a title to each home page, those titles also have disappeared. No longer usable.
