It's great for keeping records. However, it can be a mild annoyance when you don't know the mileage for something and HAVE to put a number in.

Exactly what I've been looking for. It tracks your miles per gallon for multiple vehicles. You can enter your own maintenance and repair entries, and it calculates everything you need to know how much you spend per mile to operate your vehicle just like if you were operating a commercial freight truck. It can save everything to the cloud in case your phone crashes. And it even uses GPS to determine which gas station you are filling up at without you having to manually enter it. 😍😍😍

Update: been a few years since my first review. For a while I started using CarFax app, for reasons. But I found the lack of customization of that app was causing me to miss maintenance tasks, for reasons. So I migrated the data back to Simply Auto and will stay original: Of all these apps this one was the most complete with features, customer service by email is fairly quick and helpful if you need them... So helpful I decided to go pro. The best car maintenance app I've tried on android

Man, lost all my data. Pretty annoyed. I had a few years of data logged, which was pretty important. I upgraded phones, and the data transferred over fine. I was prompted to sync my app with the cloud, and my choices were to overwrite the cloud data, or the local data in order to keep syncing. Why there wasn't a merge data option boggles the mind. It cleared a few months of logs, then when I tried it again it cleared all logs. Incredibly frustrating, hoping I have a local backup of some logs.

My phone got wiped clean and so did my logs. No problem, just go to the cloud and get my backup. Well there is nothing there. Tried multiple clouds and recovery methods, nothing. Nothing from support either. Yes, I paid for the upgrade. Doesn't do me any good now.

Mileage tracking is not reliable. I have to check it every day and make corrections. One trip I traveled over 300 miles, and it didn't record the trip at all. I paid for a lifetime subscription and so far I am unhappy with this app.
