Love this app and especially its linguistic patterns and concise, accurate translations, but I suggest unlocking more free phrases for the sheer convenience of it. The speaker should be a bit slower too.

Great app. Unfortunately, this is not the variant of Hokkien I want to learn. The one that my grandparents use is a different variant. They say ce pek (instead of chit pah, 100), Eggo (Eggo, 5), wa (goa, I) Kasia (to sia, thank you), say pak to with short o sound (long o, stomach), say m si with strong m (instead of weak m, no), say chui with ee at the end (chui with long a sound, water). Does the maker happen to have this variant or know which variant it is? Thank you.

The only app that actually works in Play Store as far as I know. My Taiwanese wife says the voice in this app really spoken by a native Hokkien speaker, but the speaker has northern Taiwanese accent, probably Taipei accent. Southern Taiwanese people speak Hokkien more than northern people in their everyday life and some say Kaohsiung accent is the standard accent in Taiwan. So I'd rate this app as 5 star if this app also has Kaohsiung accent as well.

It says "learn hokkien" but there are only mandarin and cantonese in the app's choices for Chinese languages.
