Sinceby: Chore & Home Tracker

Did I water it, or did you?

Sinceby is a chore tracker that answers one question about everything in your home: how long since it was last done. The plant, the water filter, the litter, the bed sheets, the car. Not a schedule to keep up with — just an honest record of when each last happened.

Tap a thing. It resets to now. That is the whole app.

No points. No leaderboard. No winner.

HOW LONG SINCE, IN PLAIN LANGUAGE
Every row shows elapsed time the way you would say it out loud: 3d, 2w, 4mo.

A LIST THAT SORTS ITSELF
Your home list has three sections, always in the same order:

• OVERDUE — past its target, worst offender first
• COMING UP — sorted by the days you have left
• NO TARGET — everything else, longest untouched on top

OPTIONAL TARGETS, NEVER PENALTIES
Give a chore a gentle target — "about every 14 days" — and its bar warms from calm stone through honey to gold. Leave it off and it just counts up forever.

Overdue is gold, never red. Sinceby never wipes a counter back to zero because you were late.

ONE TAP, AND AN EASY WAY BACK
Tap any row to mark it done now; a short bar with an Undo catches a slipped thumb. Long-press to open a thing, read its history, and edit it from there.

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
Two widgets, free at every tier: your list at a glance, and a feed of the last few things anyone has done. Pro adds two more — one chore given the whole tile, or a ring that fills as it ages.

A TRACKER FOR EVERYTHING IRREGULAR
Sinceby works as a:

• Cleaning schedule that isn't a schedule — vacuuming, bed sheets, the shower drain, windows, the fridge
• Plant watering tracker — which houseplant was watered when, and which you keep ignoring
• Pet care log — litter tray, flea treatment, tank water, claws, vet visits
• Home maintenance tracker — water filter, air filters, smoke alarm batteries, descaling the kettle
• Car maintenance log — oil, tyre pressure, car wash, service
• Household admin — bins out, meter readings, backups, calling your parents

If a job has a fixed date, it belongs in your calendar. If it only needs doing "every once in a while", it belongs here.

SHARING IS FREE
Sinceby needs an account: a shared list needs somebody to share it with. One invite link puts the people you live with on the same list — done on one phone is done on all of them, and every row says who did it last.

SINCEBY PRO
One subscription, everyone you live with. Whoever sets the household up pays. We will never charge per head for cooperating.

Free, permanently: 15 chores, unlimited members and full history.

Pro adds unlimited chores; groups, with filter chips that narrow the list without reordering it; notes on a completion; reminders — one nudge past target, with a quiet-hours window, set per phone; a photo on any chore; two more widgets; and six accents with light, dark or follow the device. Monthly, annual or lifetime. Groups are for things, not for people.

COMING FROM STREAKLESS
Sinceby imports a Streakless backup directly — JSON or CSV. A dry run shows what will be created and what skipped; import merges rather than replaces.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
Back everything up to a JSON file you keep, export your full history as CSV, and restore on a new phone. None of it is behind a paywall, and none of it ever will be.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Only your household can read its list. No analytics, no crash reporting, no ads, no trackers, nothing sold. sinceby.app/privacy

WHAT SINCEBY WILL NEVER DO
Sinceby's premise is that the problem is information. You do not need motivation to change a water filter. You need to know when it was last changed.

So there are permanently no points, no badges, no streaks, no leaderboards and no per-person tallies. Not a feature left for later. It is the product.

A calm chore tracker, cleaning list, plant watering tracker, pet care log and home maintenance record in one glanceable list. Days since, time since, last done, how long has it been — however you ask it, this is the app that answers.

Recent changes:
The chore screen does more now. You can mark something done from it, and pin it or set a reminder without opening the edit form.

It also draws a timeline: where the completions sit, and — once there are three — how often the job actually comes round. A description of the rhythm, never a score.

Setting a target no longer means counting days. Pick weeks or months and say how many.
