Description

Each guide in the list can be installed independently for no charge. The tours include museum guides, heritage trails and audio guides.

Many of the trails include location triggering using GPS or Bluetooth Beacons to detect where you are on the tour and automatically show you relevant content. However, you do not need to be in the location in order to access the content in the guide.

GPS and Bluetooth are used in a power-efficient way. However, as with all apps that use location, please note that continued use of GPS and Bluetooth running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

The museum is of great interest and the app makes it more so. I downloaded it in the café but didn't use it too much as I had two toddlers my grandsons with me. However, l later read through the app, and it enhances what I had seen. Will go back again and take it in at leisure when I'm on my own.

Google Play tells me Situate is compatible with my phone, but it will not install properly - l get a blank gray screen with green toolbars.
