To get the app to connect, put your phone in airplane mode, then connect to the Wi-Fi for the drone. Make sure you manually disconnect from other Wi-Fi networks. That's what got mine going, and now I can use the camera and my phone for the controls. Hope this helps. I'm new to the world of drone flying, but this drone/app seem to really be setting me up for failure.

It was the easiest flying app and drone .... I've never had touched one am dim 57 now ...pretty cool lil drone powerfully tho thank you best time I've had playing with any remote control device

Well that was that. My last flight. I took the Raven out for a simple test flight. The drone lifted off took a few seconds to stabilize. I let it hover for a minute, it began to drift I corrected it and brought it back to starting point. I took it up to 20' and started a flight path east. It stopped responding. I hit the return to home button. The drone shot straight up to about 80' where the wind caught it and took it up and south. The altitude kept increasing and "goodbye drone."

Will not display real time video of the aircraft sky rider raven

Got this for Christmas. The app is totally unusable. Cannot link to the drone, or perform any functions whatsoever. Using the provided controller at above ground altitudes of about 60–70 feet, the drone frequently lost connection with controller and drone. It will fail to respond to commands... then suddenly regain connection, somewhat. Enough to manhandle the drone to crash-land. Return to home button sends the drone straight up skyward... out of control. Haven't had that work properly yet
