I bought the original Skydio R1 in Feb 2018 and have been using it for the last 7 months in many places, and it is THE ULTIMATE follow cam drone. I've used the Mavic Pro extensively and recently tried the new follow features in the Mavic Pro 2, and it's nothing close to what the Skydio R1 had even back at launch time. Since that time Skydio has delivered two major revisions with very significant features and improvements. The app is very nice and solid, even on my old Nexus 5x. Fantastic product - setting the standard for all other manufacturers to try and follow.
