Order directly from the shop when possible. Poised as an app to make that easier, it also makes getting support for an issue with an order harder than ordering directly. If a pizza shop forgets part of your order, you have to hope that the staff can get a hold of them because Slice support still have to contact the store on your behalf. Past that navigation for finding new pizza shops is a bit clunky in the current design, but otherwise the service works as advertised.

Decided to use this instead of doordash. The restaurant is was ordering from recommended them on their site. 30 minutes later when I get a call from the restaurant asking if someone like doordash was supposed to pick up my order, regret began to set in. The restaurant I ordered from was kind enough to deliver the food themselves, but it was cold. Reheated the food was still good, but that's not thanks to slice. Is this an actual delivery app or an intricate soft troll? If it's a troll, amazing job

Terrible 1st experience - I ordered a pizza several hours before the place closed, and I didn't even get a notification that my order wasn't going to be made or delivered. I waited outside the hotel and nothing. It wasn't until I contacted Slice customer service and all I got was a "would you like to cancel?" Even though the delivery driver was reassigned 4 times, I knew nothing even though I signed up for notifications...then a note that it would take several days to see a refund. Don't use.

I ordered dinner, and it was delivered to the wrong address. Now, no dinner and I have to wait between 24-49 hours while someone is enjoying a free dinner because of their stupid driver. I will never use this app again.
