The smart EQ control brings electrifying mobility to your smartphone. In order to use the smart EQ control app, you need to register free of charge at smart connected Portal, specifying your vehicle with the aid of the vehicle identification number. Following verification of the link between user account and vehicle by an authorised dealer, you can activate the desired services on the smart portal. This provides access to numerous intelligent features. You can keep tabs on the current status of your vehicle and control many functions using your mobile device.

Essential app for any Smart EQ owner. Occasionally glitches and doesn't connect to the car, but mostly does what it says on the tin. Shows you the charge on your battery. Useful if you don't want to keep hitting 100% on the charge.

Can't even load it. Was working fine. Then came the update. Crashed when I tried to preheat in the frost. Reloaded and now it says that my default browser isn't Chrome when it is, so can't access it at all. Was just about to ring support -who replied to my review-after several more failed attempts. Worked this time. Thank you. 2024 update working fine, thank you, though it won't accept Miles as units even though it appears as an option.

Constant problems. Regular crashes. Respond times take up to 5 minutes (the app needs to be open, or it just stops). And now it logged me out, and I cannot access it anymore. What a joke. Never going for Mercedes & Smart again.

Often fails to update status of the car. For example, it still shows that the car is charging even though the cable was removed 14 hours ago. The app is useless if updates from the car fail
