Description
Smart Measure is a tool in the 2nd set of the Smart Tools collection. This rangefinder (telemeter) measures the distance and height of a target using trigonometry.
Usage is simple : Stand up and press the shutter. The important point is that you must aim your camera at the GROUND, NOT the object. (i.e. In order to measure the distance from someone, aim at his shoes.) After measuring the distance, you can measure your friend's height.
If it is not accurate, please read the instructions and see checklist diagram in my blog. You can calibrate the measurement app with calibration menu for yourself.

The app is really working approximately good. The only thing is that the app's interface is very difficult to understand. To measure height of object: 1. Place the '+' pointer at the bottom of the object (shoes of a person) and click the 'get distance' button. 2. Now press the 'H' option on the left side and move the pointer slowly from the object's bottom to top. 3. Click the 'get height' button after reaching the top. You can see the height of the object displayed on the left side.

This looks like it could be a useful app, but it only seems to do height and distance. I want to measure length and width. Kinda like you would do with the tape measure they use for their icon

Nah, just too hard to use. Too much piss farting around to get a good reading. If it's too hard, it's not worth doing. This app falls into that category. The app lasted about ten minutes on my phone before it was sent to the delete section never to be seen again. Life is too short to muck around with apps that take too much effort to get it working properly. And really, calling it smart measure is an oxymoron if ever there was one.
