An overview of the main features of the Smarter app per device: i Kettle 3rd Generation (all models)
Easy set up for presets such as: - Wake-up mode. Use this feature to boil your iKettle in the morning or during the day between your busy schedule to always have the kettle ready for the perfect cuppa. - Home Mode. Have the iKettle boiling, ready for when you arrive home. - Formula Mode. As a new parent, any help is appreciated. Formula mode boils the iKettle to 100ºC (212ºF) then cools to 70ºC (158ºF) to make formula milk killing any nasty bacteria that may be lurking. Visit WHO for guidance on formula feeding. - Quick Boil. One tap setting to 85ºC (185ºF), 95ºC (203ºF) and 100ºC (212ºF). Integrate the Smarter app with voice-activated devices such as Amazon Alexa, Google Nest Home, Siri and third-party apps.

Easy set up for presets such as: - Wake-up mode. Use this feature to brew the perfect coffee in the morning or during the day between your busy schedule to always have the perfect brew. - Home Mode. Have coffee brewing for when you arrive home Your Brew, Your way. With our Smarter app, you can personalise your coffee. Choose between: Strength: Weak, Medium, Strong Brew Type: Filter, Bean Cups: 4 to12 cups Integrate the Smarter app with voice-activated devices such as Amazon Alexa, Google Nest Home, Siri and third-party apps.
FridgeCam
FridgeCam is our answer to a smart fridge; a compact and zero-fuss device that can transform any standard, no-frills fridge into a money and time saving, waste-busting powerhouse. FridgeCam has the ability to recognise and track items in your fridge. Automated shopping list: SmarterAssist will track scanned products and automatically update your Tesco or Amazon Fresh shopping basket. Always know what's in your fridge: Using the Smarter app, you can peek inside your fridge from anywhere. Simply open the app to view the latest snapshot of your fridge's shelves Best before: Receive notifications when the products in your fridge are about to expire.

[Edit] issue has been addressed A few days ago the app just stopped working, I tried the factory reset and many things and is not working. I can remove and add the Coffee maker again but any of the settings is working. I contacted support, and the only answer is that there is a problem with the servers but has been too many days and is not fixed. The worst part is that the default configuration is set to 4 cups, so it is a waste to run 4 cups each time If only one person is drinking coffee

I have had this kettle for a couple of years, and it has worked perfectly every day however, I have recently upgraded my phone (samsung) and when I try to log in with my username and password the arrow isn't highlight, and I am unable to move on from that page... please help.

Was fine for a while but has completely stopped working, bricking almost every feature of the coffee maker. Do we all get refunds???

Update: this kettle stopped being smart. I can still boil it manually, but I could have done that with a regular kettle. Lame Pretty simple app but notifications don't work. I've checked my android settings and allowed all permissions, but it won't send anything. Checking the apps' notification history says no notifications have been sent. I even tried connecting it to IFTTT, but I guess the app itself just doesn't want anyone to know that my kettle has boiled. Smarter, sure, but not the smartest.

I got the same issue as many buyers of the Kettle. The app is broken and there is no possible way to connect the kettle to the app. I try all the different ways. Also, I contacted Smart many times, only to be told that the app was being worked on, and it would soon be working again properly. It has been 5 months and nothing has changed. How is this possible? Could someone from Smart come out as a responsible company and bring a solution to us all.
