This app worked well for a year on my Gen 1 coffee machine, but would not open earlier today. I contacted support team for help, however there is a bug within the app which will be resolved soon. Good customer service from Smarter Support.

I have kettle and coffee machine which only work with this app. It worked and it's done what it promised. Around December 2018 the log in feature has stopped working. (error authenticating). Recent app update and logs in and all works ! Great !

Doesn't seem to work with Android Pie, and from previous experience the setup process is hit or miss. It doesn't always detect the SSID you're connected too (thus can't tell you're connected to the coffee maker or kettle). Pretty disappointed in a so-called tech company due to the fact that they seemingly completely dropped support for their first generation of devices (and didn't follow through on feature promises like IFTTT). Won't be buying another Smarter device and won't recommend them to other people.

Constantly looses wi-fi. So have to reset the machine, uninstall the app and start again.... Everyone!

App went haywire when upgrading firmware. The app is so hard to connect to the machine. The coffee maker machine is working well, but it takes so long to connect to phone app now.
