Description
SmartPack is an easy to use but powerful packing assistant which helps you to prepare your packing list with minimum effort. The app comes with several common items suitable for different travel scenarios (contexts), which can be fully customized to match your needs.
You can add your own items and activities and even use AI for suggestions. When your list is ready, you can start packing without even looking at your phone by using Voice Mode, where the app will read the list out loud sequentially and wait for your confirmation as you pack each item. And these are only a few of the powerful features you'll find in SmartPack!
✈ The app automatically suggests what to bring with you based on travel duration, gender and contexts/activities (ie. cold or warm weather, plane, driving, business, pet etc)
➕ Contexts can be combined so that items are only suggested in certain situations (ie. "child car seat" is suggested when contexts "driving" + "baby" are selected, "rent a car" for "plane" + "driving" and so on)
⛔ Items can be configured so that they are NOT suggested in certain situations (ie. "hair dryer" not needed when "hotel" is selected)
🔗 Items can be linked to a "parent" item and automatically included when that item is selected, so you will never forget to bring them together (ie. camera and lenses, laptop and charger etc)
✅ Support for tasks (travel preparations) and reminders - just assign the "Task" category to the item
⚖ Inform the approximate weight of each item in your list and have the app estimate the total weight, helping to avoid surcharges.
📝 The master item list is fully customizable and you can add, edit, remove and archive items as desired. It can also be imported/exported as CSV

🎤 Use your voice to interact with the app while it tells you what to pack next. Just reply with "ok", "yes" or "check" to cross out the current item and proceed to the next

The app is really useful to create personalized packing lists, I like the use of contexts and categories. However, there is one thing that is a bit annoying: When I create a new context, I can add new AI-generated items, but there's no quick way to simply add a selection of the items I already have in my master list to the new context. Instead, I have to edit each item to add the new context, which is quite time-consuming.

There is a reviewer (Artemis Caine) who goes on about no gendered items. Yes there absolutely are gendered items: boy clothes, girl clothes, toys for boys and toys for girls. There is also non gender-specific items such as tooth brush etc. Not sure what that dude is on about, but in the real world, things are definitely gendered.

Every item is gendered. I just wanted to make a list of things to pack in an organized way, and it wanted to know if the item I was going to make was for men or women. There is no such thing as men or women items????? Edit in after response: The option is not "neutral", they offer "both" and there is no conceivable function to gendering items. It's just gross the longer one thinks about it.

Paid for the app. But cannot import/export. False claim. Let me know how to import/export items. When I click Master List, Export, I get 0 byte file. When I try to import CSV file, it says error occurred.

Buggy. Downloaded. Created & named a list. Went to add items, it crashed. Kept going back in but would quickly close. Said I needed to clear cache but other than list name, no data.
