★★★★★ Tried this for the April 2024 eclipse with mixed results. Sliders were a bit touchy, but otherwise worked as expected. Phone's camera (S22+) let me zoom in closer, but I believe it uses a digital zoom that the app wouldn't (and shouldn't) rely on. The filters themselves were of great use for both viewing and taking pictures, with no issues.

★★★★★ Excellent. I bought the kit with the little solar snap camera filters and the solar glasses. This app allowed me to take awesome photos of my camera and enjoy the eclipse. Thank you!

★★☆☆☆ 4/8 in Dallas. None of pics taken with this app were decent enough to look at or share. I got much better results using my S22 phone's PRO Mode. You only need the solar lens filter. You don't really need this app. Thank God the guy next to me suggested using the phone's camera and not using the app. The pics I got were awesome when I switched back to regular camera.

★★☆☆☆ Terrible. So disappointed using this app on my Samsung S21 phone. Not one good picture of today's eclipse using this app no matter what settings were made. The only thing that worked well was the 1 picture per minute timer using the partial setting. Even then, all pictures were over exposed. Obviously, the app was not able to set a high enough ISO setting. Pro mode using my phone's camera app worked much better. A once in a lifetime opportunity lost thanks to a poorly performing app.
