Description
Have you ever been listening to a song, or have a friend playing some chords and want to know what key the song is in? This app could help.
This little helper can be used to identify the key a song is in via several methods:
* Analysing live music via the devices's microphone * Analysing a local audio file on the device * A set of user-entered chords
All analysis is performed locally on the device, so doesn't use your mobile data allowance.
The results of a scan can then be saved to be referred to later if required.
If there is a song that changes key part way through, on the song detail page you can enter the chords, or analyse via the microphone while you play that part of the song.

So far I'm amazed. Picks up the keys no worries. This will be very useful. Just make sure you're certain on what it's decided on because it tends to jump around abit.

Previous phone Samsung Note 8 and previous SKF app worked good mostly, but now on my new Note 10+ and latest ver. Of SKF it locks up immediately or sometimes after about 10 seconds. Not happy with it now. BTW I use Live Scan also tested on lenovo tablet same issue try turning down audio on lenovo same. If I could turn down the recording level for the phones' microphone would probably fix this.

App is good, and each it says the song is in a minor key, jus know that it means the song is a major one step lower. A minor=G major

So this might be a slightly unfair review because I literally just downloaded it, but I had it detect a song on my android 15 phone and while I'm generally unsure if it's accurate or not, when I hit the transpose button, nothing happened. Don't know if that's a paid feature but pressing transpose did nothing. Will change my review if this gets fixed.

Highly inaccurate predictions. I've tried the app on several pieces by playing something on my pc while holding phone near speaker, and the key guessed by app was almost always incorrect.

Incorrect key for songs. Please improve the app. Incorrect key for many songs display major key for minor AND show minor key for major key improve the app .AND please update the app

The app works well - however there is a shameless amount of data collection, if I was able to reject "all" ad trackers it would be 5 stars - there are no "legitimate" reasons to invade people's privacy
