Sort2Folder - File Sorter

★★★★★ Long review. This app will be on my " first install " list along with Es Explorer. Although file managers sorts file, but u can not sort every folder on your desire. And this app is trying to solve the problem 👍👍👍. Please for God sake... Add INSTRUCTIONS with DETAILS as how to use it. It took me more than half an hour to figure out what to do with it. But then after long use of 2 hr(..now 5hr), I am pointing out problem . I have figured out them only in pdf files. But didn't try on other extensions.. (time limitations) My folder(name it 'Test') contains pdf file. Theirs name are { pdf1.pdf pdf2,.pdf Ad blue.pdf } .. Focus on the their name and importantly character before "." I created Scenario 1. new template : “New" Format : "pdf" (*.pdf) Folder name : I left as blank space Without quotation. That means format extension name is different from that of templates name Scenario 2. new template : “pdf" Format : "pdf" (*.pdf) Folder name : I left it as blank space Without quotation. That means format extension name is same as that of templates name Result In scenario 1. it will create a "New" folder inside the "Test" folder. And all file be there inside the "New", with their name as it is. Easy. Good. No problem In scenario 2. Results is Test folder>>pdf1 folder >>pdf>>file That can be predicted. But it is different or unpredictable for this file named (pdf2,.pdf) Test folder>>pdf>>file.. TRY TO SOLVE THIS. It defies all the purpose of the app One solution I know, I can give a folder name in " write your folder name" instead of leaving blank. 2.During creating a new tamplate or folder name....giving the same existing name as that of folder in directory on which sorting is to be done... (quite possible if I don't know the all folder name in a directory)... That will create a mess.. Actually a lot of mess. Folder within the folder. 3. Caretaker. I was not able to do it properly That was very erratic. Sometime I was able to make it work. Though I may be wrong, To activate it.,you have to do sorting beforehand on that particular folder. Then if u add new file on that directory it will be sorted out.. Now suggestions. Please add☺️☺️☺️ 1. Detailed instructions 2. A feature to " unsort".. Exactly opposite of this " sort".. That will come handy very often. as multiple sorting (may be required when u forget to include subfolder) is creating pathetic problem. And Especially copying data from many folder all together. And if u do that.. U will have multiple folder.. Folder within the folder... So please 'unsort' it out. 3. After sorting into new folders..it should have options to delete old folders. So that it declutters all thing. 4. It should have an option to " choose from" previous user created file/format... Especially for Caretaker... 5.Make widget, floating icon, side border animation, something like that...it will make easy to open anywhere .. Without opening the app.. And please NOT as notification badge. Please look for these possibilities I have written more than enough.

★★☆☆☆ After tutorial and storage permission granted, it just blacked out and not responding

★★☆☆☆ Horrible UI, and not working. Took me quite some time to kind of figure out what tp set where to get stuff moving, but unfortunately it's just copying it seems. No way of making it move files in settings. Thought for that price I won't regret it, but that's honestly the worst app UI and experience I ever had.

★★☆☆☆ App is very not easy to understand.. Even after tutorial I was not sure what it was doing and after final step It did something with music files and now all arranged files were dumped in one folder.. Broke my music setup.. At last step it even scanned through data folder which should be excluded. I think you should put up warning for first time at time of tutorial that last step would physically move your files from here to there and then do it.. Someone can accenditially do that.. Also after search there is no clear indication on what files would be moved where... Please fix.
