I installed this hoping it would amplify the media sound to my hearing aids because sometimes call volume isn't loud enough. Media playback with my hearing aids is fine, but phone calls sometimes have quieter volume, and I wanted to be able to amplify it. This does not work because you have to have headphones plugged in and hearing aids do not count as headphones. Will change my review if there is an update that fixes this.

Sound Amplifier? It is a shame that this does anything but amplify sound for Android smartphones whether it's from phone speakers, Bluetooth headphones, etc. Not as robust as other sound "amplifiers" despite the fact that it's a free app. Google used to have a dedicated EQ system for sound, but they don't want to admit that it actually existed. Hey Google, do better.

The option to use the phone's mic is not working when I connect it to my wireless headphones. Although it works fine with wired earphones. Just after 1 sec it just stops. I have tried everything but it doesn't work. I installed this app for this feature, but it is not working

This Sound Amplifier DOESN'T amplify or even acknowledge many sounds. Right now I have one earbud in, and I can NOT hear a bird outside my window using the Sound Amplifier App The ear without an earbud can hear the bird loud and clear. This only hears certain sounds. It produces static and feedback when close to other electronics it transfers its internal sounds as sounds in your environment. . It's not good at voices either. I'm sure there are far better free to use apps
