Excellent. How do I make it show the intensity relative to a soundproofed room (or a very quiet place)? I find it unintuitive to have minus decibels (relative to what sound source)? Decibels should always be expressed relative to a quiet source (by convention that would have +0 dB). Update: Thanks for the reply. It makes sense now, although, one question remains: in dBFS what is the maximum level corresponding to 0 dB? Seems to me that this is device specific, or is there a standard?

Tested my headphones to see how deep the bass extension really was. Sounded immensely deep. Conclusion? A solid, clean 29hz - Wow! Tested with known notes. As accurate as it needs to be to recognize specific frequencies amongst the chaos.

Okay, this is a really cool (and tiny) app! I was looking for something to measure infrasound after hearing the effects it can have despite not being audible, and wanted to do some Science in places people found spooky! ...but ended up also messing around with seeing how close I could get to certain notes with my voice, tuning my ukulele, and then discovering I could basically see a piano roll of the things I was strumming in the waterfall view I basically just ended up playing with it! Aha
