Portable and nice meter This sound meter is very nice to see and easy to carry and to use for tourists. So they can rate 5 stars easily. HD graphics and graphing function are admirable. This meter made my device more useful, therefore I am rating by 4 stars only. Please, don't mind.

Wanted to show my dad how loud he screams and that he needs a hearing aid. But it maxed out at ridiculous 93 dbs. That's the noise my vacuum cleaner makes. He talks three times louder. I need something that goes up to 200db or 300db. Others complained also that it's inaccurate at 110db. That's because it only goes up to 93.

You've removed the option to calibrate according to the brand of my device. Now it is showing all high readings. I've downgraded to one star only, because it doesn't work on my Asus anymore.

"0 STARS ACTUALLY, USELESS APP". App read 112 dB when actual meter read 92.3 db after borrowing one from a friend for comparison because of my suspicion that it was wrong. My ears did a better job than this app. If you do not know what you're looking at or doing regarding calibration, you might as well guess at the levels. With available technology today, you are better off buying a cheap & real sound meter than getting a pink noise generator & jumping through hoops to calibrate this app.
