If you like Fighting Fantasy or Dungeon Crawlers you'll love these! Met these guys at the UK Games expo, and they were really passionate about this project! I just installed FIST 👊 and I'm making my way through the game, really lovely how they've done it and the recordings sound great. Thanks for bringing this piece of history back to life.

★★★★★ Paul Gray · Sep 25, 2025

Authentic audio+text adventures. Modern in design, but retro in feel. A large range of different genres to choose from, with famous IPs. Clever combinations of audio and interactive 'game book' style to keep you engaged on multiple levels.

★★★★☆ Guidovin · Jun 4, 2026

Really promising. But some polish would make it much better. Things like the silent stretches between audio files The ambience should continue playing until the next file is ready, not go silent.

Sound Realms is an awesome company, trying to do something really special by resurrecting some classic phone based games. As a fan and collector of game books, I think this is awesome. However, the app itself is pretty bad. The interface is sluggish & I've found it almost impossible to actually download the games to my device for offline play. I've tried on my phone and my tablet, on Wi-Fi and 5G and nothing seems to work. They get to anywhere between 4 and 47 percent and then just stop working.

★★☆☆☆ Jo Burns · Aug 6, 2023

Really has a lot of potential. The quality of the recordings is great, but the overall visuals are not. The image quality is poor and sizing is a mess. Because one must use the visual side of the app there is a disconnect. Why not hands-free? There are no options to add cc, so you must stare at the distorted image. It takes away from the narrators' lovely performance. On the one hand I want to love this because I love audiobooks and RPG, but it seems like it needs work.

★★☆☆☆ Mikael Magnusson · Feb 14, 2026

Prices? I played the demo which was very nice with a good voice actor. But I never sign up for an account before knowing if I want to buy something. If you had listed the prices for the games I would probably have bought some. Now instead I got irritated and gave you a poor rating.
