It has a basic yet well crafted combat system. The small sound effects and the narrators voice enhanced my experience. I learned about this project on the drive-thru RPG site while looking up solo RPGs. I strongly suggest downloading it and taking it for a spin in a waiting room with earbuds in. It takes It's time to story tell. So it plays slowly to its benefit, so it is a great at consuming time in such a situation. When the action hits it is more natural due to the build up of the story.

Authentic audio+text adventures. Modern in design, but retro in feel. A large range of different genres to choose from, with famous IPs. Clever combinations of audio and interactive 'game book' style to keep you engaged on multiple levels.

Really has a lot of potential. The quality of the recordings is great, but the overall visuals are not. The image quality is poor and sizing is a mess. Because one must use the visual side of the app there is a disconnect. Why not hands-free? There are no options to add cc, so you must stare at the distorted image. It takes away from the narrators' lovely performance. On the one hand I want to love this because I love audiobooks and RPG, but it seems like it needs work.

Prices? I played the demo which was very nice with a good voice actor. But I never sign up for an account before knowing if I want to buy something. If you had listed the prices for the games I would probably have bought some. Now instead I got irritated and gave you a poor rating.

Sound Realms is an awesome company, trying to do something really special by resurrecting some classic phone based games. As a fan and collector of game books, I think this is awesome. However, the app itself is pretty bad. The interface is sluggish & I've found it almost impossible to actually download the games to my device for offline play. I've tried on my phone and my tablet, on Wi-Fi and 5G and nothing seems to work. They get to anywhere between 4 and 47 percent and then just stop working.
