I have a Soundbars Go, app is really good (essential for best experience with the speaker) but needs the following feature: - I need more control over which devices can/can't connect, just like a mobile hotspot feature. Even when I change the pin, devices that previously connected under the old pin are able to reconnect without a pin. - Also, I want to force-disconnect, ban, unban devices from the speaker since I've had problems with this before.

On android 13 the app works absolutely flawless for me. I love the EQ options and the simplistic UX of the app. Also, I must admit, the Soundbars (3rd gen) itself is the most satisfying Bluetooth speaker I have owned till date. If you are a techno or bass head and a sucker for the heavy baselines and punch bass pressure used to from partying in clubs, this might be the only Bluetooth speaker out there which could be able to satisfy your needs to feel the music! This app is the icing on the cake!

Horrendous. Don't buy a soundbars expecting to use any features requiring this app. Never finds the studbooks speaker even when its literally connected and playing music.

When I bought my two Sounboks Go speakers, and downloaded the app, it allowed custom equalizer function for both speakers, paired in stereo. An update made it necessary to eq each speaker separately, which makes no sense, and takes away much and distracts from a listening experience. I would have chosen a different set of speaks if I'd known this was coming. I hate-hate-hate that I can no longer eq both speakers, paired for stereo, together. That that capability was taken away is batshit nuts.
