Spare Room is great. Found my current roommate with them. Spare Room doesn't require you to pay to read messages. I did pay to verify my ID. Not sure if it made a difference. Also paid to upgrade my sub, which helped. No fake ads just to get you to pay for a sub.

Giving this app another attempt to find a good roommate. Let's see how it goes 2023 currently November 25 searching for a stable roommate. I've found a roommate on spare Room once before. This app has custom settings ie: Males preferred. LGBT household. Search6 area you choose. Lots of settings. It's flexible and affordable. I recommend this Roommate house share App👍

Spare room use to be just okay (and I mean just OK, now it's a graveyard, now yrs later they deactivate my account for some BS.good riddance I'll stick with Craigslist, roomies or Facebook marketplace!

App lets you fill out every single page which takes an hour. Then, when you upload pix of what you've got to rent, the screen freezes with a pop-up telling you can't have any info in any photos you upload. Well, I don't have any info in my photos but the stupid screen refuses to advance to publish the post. Great job, SpareRoomUS. Another useless app wastes the time of a prospective User. · I read your reply. It's got nothing to do with "my account". It's YOUR APP. Maybe "check" that? Duh.
