Spas of Budapest Guide

Visiting Budapest and planning to relax in one of its famous thermal baths?
"Gellért", "Rudas", "Széchenyi", "Dandár", "Lukács", "Veli Bej"? You have already heard these words, but have no clue about them? You need advice, which spa to visit, how to buy the ticket, how to find the place, what to take with you, etc?

"Spas of Budapest" is your local guide to help you choose the perfect spa experience – without getting lost in touristy fluff or scattered information.

This app was created by a local Budapest native who truly knows the city’s spa culture – not a marketing team. You’ll find honest, practical tips that go beyond brochures and TripAdvisor reviews.

🌊 What you’ll find inside:

The 6 most iconic thermal baths of Budapest, carefully selected to start with (later more baths will follow)

Essential information: opening hours, ticket types, locker vs. cabin advice, what to bring, and what to expect + recommendations

Real-world insights: Is there food for your dietary needs? How crowded does it get? Is it family-friendly?

Simple and clean design to help you find what matters – without distractions

🗺️ Future updates will include hidden gems and lesser-known local favorites, not just the famous spots.
🌍 And yes – translations are on the way! Soon you’ll be able to use the app in Japanese, Spanish, French, German, and more.

Whether you're looking for a relaxing soak, a historical experience, or something uniquely Budapest, Spas of Budapest helps you make the most of your visit.
