Hello. I have been using speech Central for a few years now. Currently on Pixel 6. Your recent upgrade (was it late 2025?) has really thrown a wrench in main use of the app. I can no longer figure out how to edit my pasted text. I listen to PDFs that don't read properly when imported directly, so I have to copy and paste them. Do I have to upgrade to get this feature back? POSTSCRIPT: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR QUICK REPLY. I did not know about that long press feature. That fixed my whole problem

Convenient, can paste text by clicking + New and select paste text, can export web articles to the app, but Google now sends to a search link, so can open with Google Chrome first, and then export to this app for later reading, app switches voice on each article, voices and language preferences can be selected in settings, when exporting an article to speech central have to make sure it attached the article, it does not include save text to voice and converting to MP3, flac, nor ogg,

After a recent update, the edit feature stopped working. After editing, the old text is read aloud even if deleted. Something must be wrong.

Biome Pro (e ink phone): OK. The most annoying feature: random voice changes reading few paragraphs, even when Random is not selected. Pixel 9 Pro (default phone): Used twice. Now: Cannot use. Constantly hangs. A guess that the problem is caused by another app or data corruption. Please invest what I've paid in a better app version. Fix at least the random voices reading each paragraph in a different accent. I cannot use it like that. Cannot focus on the content. Every time I need time to adopt

Overall I really like the voices, but the text extraction has a big problem : I constantly have paragraphs in the middle of sentences which makes the voice pause and makes listening very exhausting. Could that be fixed? As a temporary workaround I would take the option to define the pause length after a paragraph and after a sentence, so that I could just make all pauses after paragraphs just as short as between words.

Saw this app as one of the option to read some text aloud, choose it and the women's voice that was activated was so mind-numbingly horrific, I immediately set out to find out with the app was even called, so it could immediately be Uninstalled. I was successful but had to share my views first. It wouldn't be fair to call this app useless, but in this day in age when you can get an app built in minutes by an Agent, I'm amazed this product is still available for download. Yikes
