Absolutely love Speech keys, a somebody that avoids physically typing as much as I can, this is an absolute lifesaver, the one small criticism I do however have is that the microphone appears to stay active for a few seconds after you click the mic button, it's no big deal, but it does get a little bit annoying after a while. It would also be nice if the keyboard could be a little bit bigger for those times you do have to physically type, apart from that, it's great.

At last someone has developed a dictation software app exactly what is required by allowing you to readily insert punctuation as you dictate without interrupting the smooth flow of dictation itself. I have searched high and low for so long to find something like this swipe The developers great job well done. The interface is simple, the functionality is comprehensive, and the dictation quality so far is as good as anything else I have used.

All voice typing is glitchy, but while Speech keys works tolerably within its own notepad app (Speech notes), it does nothing at all in my email app. Google voice typing worked, so the problem is with Speech keys. Definitely not spending time training it to my voice - let alone paying - if I can't use it everywhere. The UI is clunky but instructions, settings etc. are well written giving the impression this company cares about quality, so I'm sorry I can't support. Would have been 4⭐.

Speech keys continuously cycles between being “disconnected” and "reconnecting", missing words in my dictation. The custom key functionality is buggy: a four-letter all-caps acronym I configured often has the first letter changed to lowercase. Having to constantly go back and correct these issues makes Speech keys less productive than the default voice typing function of my Android phone. I purchased Speech keys because of the claim that it stays in dictation mode. Looks like I wasted $6.99.

Dictation seems to work well and unlike Google dictation which easily switches back and forth between languages, Speech keys voice typing stays with the language it is set to, which I find very helpful if you have an accent. However and this has found very annoying, on my phone, every time I try to edit a custom key, the app crashes. I hope the developer finds out why and fixes it soon.
