Work your way up from Novice, to Brilliant, to Mastermind, and on to win! There are only two rules to finding words and winning the Spelling Queen game: words must be at least 4 letters long, and words must always use the center letter.
Some games have only 10 words to find, to win the spelling game... other games have over 50 words! Use Help to get a word count that will tell you how big the challenge is, see how many you've found, and get hints.
Each game has at least one pangram - a word that uses all 7 of the game's individual letters. Some games have more than one! Found a pangram? Happy times - enjoy the confetti celebration!
Spelling Queen Pangram’s starting word list is a partial English dictionary of the most frequently used words that have 7 or fewer unique letters. In your game, you can customize your own personal word list! Here's how it works: if you enter a word that is in the English dictionary but is not in the game's list, you can add that new word to your own list. That new word will be included in future games!

I play this a lot, and it's fun, but sometimes the disparity between words that are accepted as answers vs words that are not makes me want to chuck my phone into traffic in a fit of rage. For example, "true" is not accepted as a word, but "TRUER" is. seriously? And the choice to "Add 'true' to the word list" will pop up, but nothing changes because the word isn't accepted the next time it comes up in a game. "Word list" exists only as a concept, and only to annoy me specifically.

Great free alternative to the NYT Spelling Bee. You can pay a one time fee to get rid of ads, and it's well worth it imo. I love that you can add words to your personal dictionary, and whenever I found a bug and contacted the developers about it, they were always quick to get back to me, and it was usually fixed within a couple of days. Highly recommend!

I would rate the game higher if I could find a way to get help when I'm stuck. So far I only see help is available if you watch advertisements which would eat up my high speed data or pay money. Oh, there is a light bulb to click if you want a hint that repeats itself. Example is "try finding a 5-letter word starting with letters pe (or whatever your middle letter is. Find four-letter word beginning with pl etc. I couldn't even fond a way to go back to restart the level.
