4 Easy Steps!
1. The Group: First create a group for your expense, then add the individuals that participated. 2. The Expenses: Start adding your expenses. Example: Lunch, Dinner, Happy hour, house expense, coffee shop. Add as many expenses as you need for your group. SplitPal provides you three ways to split an expense: Even: The expense is split by the number of participants. Expense = $90 Participants = 3 Participant 1 $30 Participant 2 $30 Participant 3 $30 Uneven: The expense can be proportionally split. Example: Expense = $90 Participants = 3 Participant 1 $10 Participant 2 $50 Participant 3 $30 Itemized: Assign individual amounts to each participant. Example: Grocery receipt, Dinner receipt. You have two options: take a picture of the receipt and OCR will automatically populate the amounts for you, or enter the amounts manually. 3. The calculation: SplitPal does all the calculation for you down to the last penny. Tips and taxes are proportionally calculated depending on the amount you owe from the expense. No participant ever pays more or less than they owe. 4. A great app for splitting group expenses and calculating who owes who how much money. It used to be such a chore splitting expenses after a vacation and this app took away much of the headache. I gave this app 4 stars because I use a different app to scan and split a bill item by item and then upload the totals and how much who owes into this app, because over here scanning and then assigning an item to a person is cumbersome. I'd prefer the UI to be like 'Scan & Split'

Has all the advanced features of Split wise, and no limitation of Expenses (there's ads in this app tho, which I guess is fair enough if you don't want to do a onetime payment of $4) Has option for Uneven splits and Minimize Transactions in the Settlement screen

This is absolutely what I'm looking for! Thank you for the great app. However I think there's some small features that could be implemented to improve the ux: 1. Add email address / phone number of the participants to enable direct expense sharing 2. Enable direct sharing of the csv file to participants (in settlements) 3. Share expense link on receipt scanning should always available even after saving. In expenses list 4. Export & import all expense history to google account
