Genuinely one of the best apps for splitting money. Split wise is a lot more rich in features and more advanced, but tricount is very damn close while being completely free (so far). Beautifully developed app, no issues at all!

The app is good overall, but a few additional features would be helpful. For example, in the Insights section, when I click on a particular category, it only shows the category itself instead of displaying the details or items available within that category.

I just used this for a trip with a friend. You record all expenses who paid and categorize. At trips end it gives you an overview and who owes who how much. Very cool!

Really useful for tracking group spends. A couple of enhancements I would find useful: set default payee for a trip (not account holder), set default split method (not default to equal), add a calculator to the amount field so items on a bill can be added up per person in the app instead of using a separate calculator still, overall very useful 👍

Can't capture screenshots properly. My screenshot function normally allows me to scroll down while taking the screenshot so that I can capture the entire page. Every time I screenshot, there is a large pop-up covering the whole screen asking me to submit feedback, which prevents me from scrolling while I'm in screenshot mode. When I close the pop-up, it exits screenshot mode, so I can no longer continue scrolling to capture the whole list of expenses.

Tricounts mysteriously appear and disappear, it doesn't break down expenses based on the tricount only per month.

Feature wise this is a great app but occasionally the groups I was part of would disappear and now one of the groups has disappeared completely. Only 3 people were in it and no one removed anyone. It's been a month, and it's been just lost.
