Description

Lo Sprecometro è una app ideata e sviluppata dall'Osservatorio Waste Watcher International su cibo e sostenibilità, nata dal lavoro congiunte del Dipartimento di Scienze e Tecnologie agro-alimentari dell'Università di Bologna e Last Minute Market impresa sociale spin off accademico dell'Alma Mater per la Campagna Spreco Zero.
Lo Sprecometro misura in grammi lo spreco alimentare di ognuno, valutandone l'impatto economico e ambientale e propone, in base ai risultati della rilevazione, contenuti educativi atti a ridurre quantitativamente e qualitativamente lo spreco. E' quindi possibile valutare i progressi avvenuti nel corso del tempo aggiornando puntualmente il proprio comportamento (diario dello spreco) consentendo a ognuno di fissare degli obiettivi di riduzione in linea con l'Agenda Onu per lo sviluppo sostenibile (12.3: dimezzare lo spreco alimentare entro il 2030). Inoltre permette di confrontarsi con altri utenti, anche creando cluster di riferimento (famiglia, classe scolastica/universitaria, azienda, pubblica, amministrazione…). Lo Sprecometro è inoltre collegato ad un canale Instagram dove gli utenti possono condividere risultati e progressi: è una sfida da vincere tutti assieme.
Lo Sprecometro, basato sull'autopercezione, si propone di generare consapevolezza e conoscenze utili a indirizzare le scelte individuali in merito all'uso sostenibile delle risorse naturali, alla riduzione e prevenzione dello spreco alimentare e all'adozione di diete sane e sostenibili.
