Spruce has been great for years-easy to use, checks deposit quickly, easy to move & save money, easy to get a hold of customer service in the very few times I've ever needed to call. Recently though (2026), the app has had many issues- ie, constantly logging me out & not letting me log back in, freezing, and I've had to uninstall & reinstall it multiple times in the last few months, which has never been an issue before. Hopefully they fix these issues, otherwise it's been wonderful & simple!

This app is very current. It is nothing like the Emerald card. You can get paid 2 days early, and it offers an overdraft. This is better to me than the emerald card

Not very good! I had to get a code recent and upon doing so a message prompted telling me "too many attempts try again later. All because the code was recent to me. They shouldn't have the resend code feature if al they are going to do is send a message like that. My accessing the spruce app was a time sensitive matter, and they delayed something very important to me and that was seeing my daughter whom I miss. It's an obstruction to justice along with the million of other obstructions .......

It is approximately 5:12 MST and the app would not let me in to check my balance, so I tried clearing cache, and it still wouldn't let me into the app. So I deleted all storage from this app, uninstalled it. Reinstalled it, and now it won't let me log in. I am switching banks because I can't view my balance, I can't freeze my card. Can you imagine if something fraudulent was happening? Even Ugh. I'm so stressed wirh this location. I wouldn't understand why maintenance would be happening now.
