Super simple and almost as easy to use as ye Olde security token. Safety seems to actually be thought about as it closes itself when you are off of it. Good security action there that my insurance and bank don't seem to grasp, yet here SE knows people like to keep things private.

This was useful at the time for securing your Final Fantasy 11 and 14 accounts when it became available. However, this app is no longer necessary, seeing as Google Authenticator is now being used for Square Enix accounts relating to those games.

Can't log into game or my account because one time password

Tells me to get a registration password from the one time password page on the account management system. But I can't get into the square enix account management system without the one time password from this app. Thus, the endless spiral. I want to cancel my payment as I don't play it enough, and now I'm just stuck paying for a game I don't play. I want this fixed and none of the FAQs cover this.

This one time password emergency removal token nonsense is stopping me from even trying FFXIV. I need the OTP to log in to both the website and the app... and can't get the OTP without first being logged into and having access to the OTP. Absolute garbage. Second time trying to give the game a go, and it's this stupid system that stops me each time after an hour of going in circles I'm at a loss.
