I obtained this card a few years ago when my credit card was skimmed. Its extremely useful to have this type of prepaid currency card but I recommend a couple of tips 1) Make sure its set up and use it at home before you get on the plane. You can smooth out any problems that way. Use every feature you think you will need overseas, such as buying something and using the app. 2) Keep at least one other credit card with a high credit limit for big transactions with organisations that are fairly reputable (e.g . airlines, hotels, car rentals etc) and use that other card for a minimal number of transactions (just the bigger ones) 3) Use this currency card for smaller transactions where you would otherwise need cash. The big advantage is you are not carrying much cash and you are not handing over a credit card with a higher credit limit. So you are better protected from skimming (actually my card has not been compromised so far, so maybe the security features are better or I could have just been lucky). Enjoy your travels!

When logging in via an android app for the first time, it doesn't accept your password, even if you change it etc. But when logging via a Apple app, it works, and then works via the android app. I suggest having both versions if possible. (as there is a glitch in the Android app, and try it out before you travel)

It will not let me log in and change my money over to Australian Dollars. Never do it again. Tellers can't even help you over the counter.

Useless, im overseas and can't access my card via the website or the app. Nice one st George, you've made my travel difficult and an issue. Would strongly recommend to not use this card or the app.

DO NOT USE STG TRAVEL CARD Realised too late that once money is loaded on card you are unable to move to any other accounts or back to your accounts, pay any bills, send transfers. Essentially your money is locked in the card forever unless you want to convert to local currency and lose 3% of whatever you exchange. Wanted to use the services of Transferwise and Revolut but this card makes it impossible. You will lose alot of money in exchange rates every time you load the card or switch between currencies. Regret getting this card.
