Star Battles have 4 rules:
1. Column Rule: - Each column must contain exactly 2 stars. 2. Row Rule: - Each row must contain exactly 2 stars. 3. Island Rule: - Each island must contain exactly 2 stars. 4. Adjacency Rule: - Stars cannot be adjacent, not even diagonally.

This is the perfect Star Battle game. Endless puzzles, you can increase the grid size if you want, and the sound effects are so cool! I usually play soundless, but sometimes I play with the music off and sound effects on... it makes a sort of musical meditation out of the game.

I love this game, but I cannot seem to get it to save (or really restore) state on individual puzzles. I can manually save state as a "favorite", but when I load that favorite state back and press Play, the board starts empty. The preview shows the correct starts and nots. Help? Also having the game auto-save state on individual puzzles would be fantastic. Is this a setting I've missed?

Very confusing layout of the whole app. And on top of that, there is no way to hide or switch off the timer. The constantly changing digits are a huge visual distraction. Yes, one star is a good enough rating.
