This is a great little game I return to again and again. It could be an excellent game, with some tweaks. You can't save, so you sometimes lose all progress unexpectedly, and it chews device power. Hotseat multiplayer should be possible too. The AI is seldom balanced; sometimes it just uses it's starting colony ship and then just sits, or it's unbeatably aggressive, but only seldom will it expand peacefully and then respond to hostility. Annoyingly for long-running games, the camera still pans to all the AI's homeworlds, even when that colour is eliminated. The ability to rename your worlds is pretty pointless if you can't save. Still, the cat-and-mouse of finding the resource world you need, defending your territory, and trying to guess the AIs' intentions still make for a very entertaining game.

Potential This game could be far better than it is. The mechanics look fun but this enjoyment is hampered by severe shortcomings. First, there is absolutely no way to save the game. If you close the app for any reason, you have to start over. Second, the AI of the game is utterly dreadful. All they do is upgrade their systems rather than attacking with any effectiveness. Third, there's no explanation of combat mechanics. It takes trial and error to work it out. Still, there's potential. All up to the developer.
