StartEngine operates 4 wholly owned subsidiaries, StartEngine Capital, LLC, StartEngine Primary, LLC, StartEngine Secure, LLC, and StartEngine Assets, LLC. Unless otherwise indicated, Regulation Crowdfunding offerings are offered through StartEngine Capital LLC, an SEC-registered funding portal and FINRA member; brokerage services, including Regulation A+ offerings, Regulation CF offerings, Regulation D offerings, brokerage accounts, and securities trading through StartEngine Secondary (a SEC-regulated alternative trading system, operated by StartEngine Primary, LLC), are offered through StartEngine Primary, LLC, a broker-dealer registered with the SEC and FINRA/SIPC; and transfer agent services are offered through StartEngine Secure, LLC, an SEC registered transfer agent. StartEngine Assets LLC is an asset manager for StartEngine Collectibles Fund I LLC which offers Regulation A+ offerings in collectibles (e.g., fine art, wine) through the StartEngine platform.
Raise amount includes $760M in funds raised as of May 9, 2023 via Reg. CF and Reg. A+ combined through StartEngine's funding portal and broker dealer, StartEngine Capital, LLC and StartEngine Primary, LLC respectively, as well as StartEngine's own raises. Also includes $470M in funds raised previously through offerings conducted on www.seedinvest.com outside of the StartEngine platform. In May 2023, StartEngine acquired assets of SeedInvest, including email lists for SeedInvest's users, investors and founders seeking to raise funds. User count of 1.8 million is determined as the number of unique email addresses in StartEngine's database as of 10-6-2023.

Don't respond in a timely manner when a mistake is made, or you are overcharged on your account. There is no one to talk to if there is an issue or real complaint. This is not good when you are trying to invest and trying to support a start-up business as well and these things happen when you have limited funding. There needs to be more step by step information offered to review after taking someone's money on what they get and how to obtain it.

They require a membership to sell your shares, now I can consider my 20k+ investment lost then, since I also need to try and sell them after 10 years and there is no guarantee that I will be able to sell them thy just want money and money. They delete old conversations where they indicated I don't need a membership to sell shares. I do not recommend this platform, I used to be a huge fan, but now it is hard to not feel tricked. Also even after years after bankruptcy, the companies still display.

The team at Start Engine should demonstrate some respect for their investors and their emails. Since making an investment, I have been attempting to verify my account with the Start Engine team. However, nobody is replying. Supplied all the information they asked for. I am certain that in this manner, the companies relying on the start engine are also losing numerous investors.
