Steady Hands: Smart Hand Tremor Tracker

Living with a tremor can feel unpredictable. Steady Hands is a private, easy-to-use app designed to help you monitor and understand symptoms related to Essential Tremor, Parkinson's disease, or general hand tremors not linked to a specific medical condition. Using the science-backed technology built into your smartphone, Steady Hands generates objective, reliable data about your tremors, empowering you and your healthcare provider to make more informed decisions about your care.

Gain Deeper Insights with Key Features:

• Objective Tremor Analysis: Go beyond subjective feelings. Steady Hands uses simple, guided tests to quantify your specific tremor patterns—including resting, postural (holding a position), and kinetic (action-based) tremors.

• Hand Stability Score: Receive a clear stability score from 1 (extreme tremor, low stability) to 10 (no tremor, perfect stability) after each assessment. Track your progress, identify patterns, and monitor how treatments or lifestyle changes impact your tremor over time.

• Advanced Pattern Recognition: Benefit from advanced algorithms that provide a similarity score, indicating how your tremor characteristics compare to typical patterns seen in Essential Tremor and Parkinson’s disease. This provides an additional layer of personalized insight into your symptoms.

• Shareable Reports for Your Doctor: Easily export detailed, understandable reports to discuss with your healthcare provider. Objective data makes your consultations more productive, clearly illustrating your symptoms between appointments.

Who Can Benefit?
• Individuals managing Essential Tremor or Parkinson’s disease
• Caregivers seeking objective symptom tracking
• Precision-focused professionals (surgeons, archers, athletes) aiming to enhance hand stability

How It Works:
• Drawing Assessments: Trace shapes on your phone screen or paper to assess kinetic tremors easily.
• Sensor-based Tests: Hold your smartphone steady for 30 seconds to measure resting and postural tremors.
• Instant, Clear Feedback: Visualize your results immediately, helping you stay informed and empowered.

Note: Steady Hands is a wellness and monitoring tool, not a standalone diagnostic or emergency medical device. Always consult healthcare professionals for medical evaluation and decisions.
