Developed for the service technician in mind the STEELMAN SmartEAR2 Sound & Vibration Detection app will assist in locating and pinpointing defective or worn parts in automobiles, heavy machinery or industrial equipment. When used to diagnose vibration, rattles, squeaks and grinding sounds, the SmartEAR2 will simplify the task of locating and pinpointing the troubled area or part with ease.
When used with our specially designed hardware kits your Android device will be able to transform into a state of the art Sound & Vibration Detection Tool allowing for ease of locating and pinpointing those hard to find troubled areas or parts.

User friendly interface and intuitive operation. Sound level reading displays average, peak and real-time values. Sound level readings are displayed in either Analog or Digital. Analog and Digital readings have 2 display panels the user can choose from. Analog Meter or Analog Wave-Form. Digital Numeric or Digital Bar Graph. Background sound off-setting, sample rates, decibel off-setting can be manually be set. Selectable Audio Sound or Vibration input modes. ****Sound Wand & Sensor Clamp Hardware required**** Reset/Refresh buttons reset/refresh values to default settings. Sound Level Reading Sampling Rate Decibel Off-set Master Volume Control 10 Band Frequency Equalizer allows for HQ sound detection. Selectable 6 channel function allows for multiple location/position diagnostics. Color coded channels allows for ease of reference of sensor clamps and there location. Editable channel location/position allows for easy reference after road testing or diagnostic testing is completed. Record feature allows for data capturing during road testing or diagnostic testing for future reference or evaluation. Email capability allows for ease of forwarding test data for further review by others. User information guide includes informative facts about sound perception and permissible noise level exposure as well as a sound level comparison reference chart.

Useless product can't use with any of the devices I have. I have contacted customer service and tech support to find that none of my devices will work with this tool. I have a Galaxy S10+ a matco determinator 2.0 scanner ipad and a launch x431 scanner. Tech support told me none are compatible.
