Common advice with this app is that it is very difficult to initially set up, but after that, it just works. Can confirm! My equipment: - 300 mm f/4 newt - Ogma IMX571 camera - ToupTek IMX290 camera - ZWO EFW - Instep mount/focused/rotator At first, parts of my rig (e.g. rotator) didn't work with stellar mate due to bugs, but regular updates have helped tremendously! The interface makes sense and makes things easy. It's a great ASIAIR competitor if you can make it work, but it isn't perfect (yet).

Meade DSI support is still buggy and there is no support for the latest model. Reached over to Meade to complain, but they said they only supported Windows.

An amazing OS and suite of astronomy tools. I have been using this OS on pi 3+b and now pi 4 raspberry and have never had any issues with it whatsoever since day one. I can automate my entire imaging session from my warm bedroom with my setup in the garden. It has transformed my hobby of astrophotography. I will never stop using it and with regular updates and new technologies and architecture being introduced consistently, this system is going to be very hard to beat.

Hoping for improvements. The GUI is nicely done. Currently, I cannot get any sort of control with my Sony A7S or my Canon 450D, even though they are detected. I keep getting "Capture aborted" at preview stage. Also, despite an investment in an expensive regulated 3.5A power supply, the app is still very unstable. It disconnects often at random. So I hope this will get improved to make the Stellar mate OS worth its price.

I have a RPI48GB with external antenna and rock solid Wi-Fi connection and the app drops and won't reconnect to the Pi consistently. I got a test session running and then the app lost connection and wouldn't reconnect. Was working perfectly for a while and then just done. Very disappointed as was looking for this to complement my ASIAirs for my non-zoo equipment. I think the complex authorization modules when connecting really don't help with the apps stability or ability to reconnect easily.

Horrible for crying loud evev since I got the AZ-GTI mount, I have never been able to get this to work with the Synscan app, now the Synscan app will operate the mount but not through Stellar mate its has been over a week of frustration
