Description
STEPPET: The Pedometer with a Virtual Pet Buddy
StepPet is a pedometer app where your daily steps help a virtual pet buddy grow and evolve — a motivational companion for every walker.
SMART STEP TRACKING Native background step counter works on Android devices with a built-in step sensor (most modern phones). Tracks your steps automatically even when the app is closed or your screen is off. No dependency on third-party health or fitness apps.
16+ UNIQUE PET BUDDIES Your companion starts as a tiny egg and evolves through 5 stages as you walk more — from hatchling to legendary form. Free pets, premium pets, and seasonal additions. No duplicates, no barriers.
AI-POWERED PET DIARY Your pet writes a daily diary reflecting its mood, your activity level, and its personality. Every pet has a unique voice. Every day tells a different story.
SOCIAL MOTIVATION • Challenge friends on the leaderboard • Send gifts and compete on weekly challenges • Join global step competitions • Build your longest walking streak
HEALTH TRACKING WITH VISUAL STATS • Weekly bar charts showing step progress • Monthly heatmap calendar visualizing your activity patterns • Health score system (letter grades A–F) • BMI and calorie tracking • Weekly & monthly statistics • Offline-first design — works without internet
STEPPET PREMIUM • Unlock all 16+ pet buddies • Unlimited AI diary entries • Premium-exclusive seasonal content • Ad-free experience • Weekly health reports
DARK MODE + OFFLINE FIRST Pastel purple theme. Works offline — your steps are tracked even without network connection. Everything syncs seamlessly.

Great concept, horrible execution. You have to walk 5k steps in 24 hours before you can even hatch your pet. If you're disabled, like me, good luck. It also doesn't track ALL of your steps. My fitness app says over 1k steps. Pet steps have me at just over 500.
